It's been their way for a very long time now.

Damon has stated that he doesn't want a pay cut. His salary last year was $13M. Who is going to pay Damon that kind of money? I'll be surprised if he gets $10M/yr on a short (2 year) contract.

Perhaps Boras will do for Damon what he did for Varitek last year.

Ah, yes. But most of the trade rumors that I have heard involve getting a CF.. Which would allow the corner positions be filled by existing players. So, IMO, if you are going out to "buy" a player, upgrade the CF position, thus making the whole outfield stronger. But thanks for reminding me that Damon plays left.. not

I asked him specifically about Scott Boras' comments from a couple of weeks ago, and Damon backed his agent 100 percent.

And that's news? Seriously, what would you expect him to say? "Well, those are the figures that Scott's been throwing around, but personally, I think he's **** crazy."

I don't know why, but I just laughed hard at this while looking at that picture....looks like Jeter is about to start spinning Damon like a top...(or bottom...hehehe)
