Merriman: Runyan is dirtiest player I've faced

09:59 AM ET 11.26 | [Jon Runyan is] now playing with Chargers outside linebacker Shawne Merriman, who just a few weeks back called Runyan the dirtiest player he has lined up against. While Runyan defended his nasty, physical brand of blocking and doesn't plan to change, Merriman's OK with it now. "As long as he's doing it help us win, I'm good with it," Merriman said. "I'm excited about him coming in, and I put a little highlight reel together for him that he'll enjoy. It's a joke, but I got him pretty good. Ask him about that later."

That's why Jon Runyan was only voted to 1 Pro Bowl. Other players hate playing against him... so none of them would vote for him. But Runyan was easily one of the best Right Tackles in his prime.

Playing for my team or for the opposing team, it shouldn't matter. I wouldn't want anyone playing dirty. Merriman is fukwad.

Also, this mentions Runyan defending his "physical" brand of blocking. Everyone's blocking is physical stupid..... That isn't what sets you apart.

Aren't the Boys averaging like 7 pts a game the past 3-4 or some such. I think this could be in the 13-10 range myself.
