They're not very good.....other than the K's, its just a bunch of 3rd and 4th liners sprinkled in with some never should be's. Plus, when you have a pair of backup goalies, it's a recipe for disaster. No matter how well Kessel does, those picks are going to haunt Toronto.

Never. That's the point and that's why he's in deep sheyet! The Leafs pinned their hopes on him being able to turn minor leaguers into all-stars.

wilson wont be fired, the issue here is with burke he hasnt given wilson a good squad to work with. its obvioous he is trying to get some better players but at this point they dont have the talent to win.

I really don't think any of us should be concerned with how long they let Wilson coach, I really doesn't matter. As someone who follows hockey its evident Toronto needs a talent upgrade before any "system" with have much effect.

Wilson has nothing to work with. The infusion of defensive muscle has done absolutely nothing for the Leafs, and Schenn is suffering through a sophomore slump. Komisarek, Beauchemin, and Exelby have been major disappointments. Kessel is the only forward worth keeping. The team is a disaster, and we have little on the farm, and no 1st round pick for a couple of years. The bloom will be off the Irishman's rose in a little while. Burke is pretty tough, but he is about to experience pressure the likes of which he never dreamed of.

I think Burke should have gotten rid of him right from the start, but to get rid of him now doesn't make any sense. Burke trusted him from the start and should continue to let him coach - the Leafs are a long way away from being a winning hockey club.

why didnt toronto win on thursday they were up 3-0 going into the second period and ened up losing that shows that this team has bad goaltending and bad defense. I think the offense is okay andmaybe the best stuff they got evn they suck except kessel. Kessel is a great player but not a crosby or alex the gr8 he wont be able to save this team fire burke not wilson he's the one responsible for this mess wilson has no talent to work with.

They just aren't that good. Lots of bad player personnel decisions have lead to a team that after 20 games has 3 wins. Their PP is pretty good but their PK is just flat awful.

They are on a pace for 12 wins and the #1 overall pick. Oh wait, that's right, they already traded that away. Well, if they are bad next year as well, they should have a good draft pick. Right? Dammit, got that one wrong as well.

At least Tuukka Rask looks like the real deal. They traded him away too?

Wow, Burke has barely been able to unpack and you want to show him the door? Look at his track record, it took him a few years to get the Canucks back on the rails, anyone who thought this was going to happen over one trade deadline and one offseason are dillusional. He inherited a really bad team with no prospects, it's going to take time. Philly was fortunate that they had pieces other teams actually wanted plus their own good drafting helped them turnaround so quickly.

Let's not forget that Burke and Wilson are also the tandem of the U.S Olympic team. That would be kind of awkward wouldn't it?
