Packers question defensive scheme
For the second time in four weeks, Brett Favre frustrated the Green Bay Packers defense so much that one of its members spoke in less than glowing terms about the way players are being used in first-year defensive coordinator Dom Capers' 3-4 system. Defensive end Cullen Jenkins spoke out after the Packers' 38-26 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, saying he felt "handcuffed" in the new defense and that the coaches weren't putting the players in the positions where they can be most successful. Jenkins' complaint comes on the heels of cornerback Charles Woodson questioning why the Packers didn't blitz more in the loss to the Vikings Oct. 5 in the Metrodome.

Yeah, when you lose, you tend to question yourself more.
Hard to explain why the FN staffers would pick a Favre pic for a Packer story though. At least they didn't show this story in the wrong section so we should count our blessings....

How about developing a scheme to keep Aaron Rodgers upright more often?

I think there is a contract that any story in which his name is invoked it must be accompanied by his picture, in case there is some one who doesn't know who he is

The Packers' OL did a horrible job in the first half and they're in need of a new Left Tackle, IMO. The packer players that are complaining to the media should be taken aside by their teammates and or coaches and told to shut it. Nothing good comes of complaining to the media.

Also, a shout out to the poster Black Hat, who's a Bulls fan and who's guard Rose was completely man handled by the C's and Rondo on Friday night.
Rose is one dimensional bro...Rondo is a much better point guard. ;)

"Capers came after Favre with a number of different blitzes, but very few had success because Favre seemed to know they were coming."
Damn, the Vikings just look good. (Psst, Childress, don't bench Favre in favor of Tarvaris Jackson.)

There's going to be emotion when you lose a game like this. You can blame the coaches or the scheme or even the players. The truth is that Brett Favre is still one of the top QB's in the game and he happens to play on one of the best teams in the game. Its pretty easy to shine when your O-line blocks the way they did, you can hand off the ball to Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin has the game of his life and the defense is bombarding Green Bay's QB. Green Bay played their heart out in the second half and I was hoping that they might pull it out. The simple fact was that it was too little, too late. Minnesota is a better football team. The Packers need to move on instead of blaming it on the schemes, the coaches or Brett Favre's "greatness". They can rebound from this and still have a nice year, possibly sneaking into the wild card.

Well well well, believe thats 2-0 Brett vs Green Bay. Too bad he was too old and worn out to play for the packers anymore. Would green bay still stick him on their sideline with a clipboard?
hahahaha, god I love you Brett. Way to show the packers you are STILL THE MAN! 4 TD passes. Go Brett Go!!!!

I question why the Pack didn't put more of an effort in to snap Favres knees.

Amen, brother, Amen.
Blitz when they've got a run called, and you've got one less guy for Adrian Peterson to elude. Damned if you do; damned if you don't. This Viking team can pick up a 3rd-and-six on the ground. The DC knows that. He's got the whole Vikes offense to worry about, not just getting to Favre.
Face it. Favre was dodging blitzes and hitting the open receiver when most of these guys were in diapers. Literally. He may have lost a step, but he's still got the eyes and the arm.

At this point, Vikings & Saints are the cream of the NFC. Any other claims are from posers...
