05:45 AM ET 07.10 | Chad Ochocinco, recently said he planned on using Twitter during games, responded on Twitter to news that NFL rules prohibited the use of cell phones or other handheld devices in the bench area during games. "D--- NFL and these rules, I am going by my own set of rules, I ain't hurting nobody or getting in trouble, I am putting my foot down!!"

Once upon a time this guy had potential but that was before he was hit by the bizzarro stick.

Funny how T&R blanks out D--- in the title, but not in the article itself.

I'm sure Ocho will try to get away with it, until caught and fined.

Chad Eightfive sees that rules were made to be broken. The NFL sees that egotistical wideouts were made to be fined.

Entertainment is apart of sport... It's a spectacle for fans... The NFL should think about who pay's the money for there business to run... The Fan's and this is the kind of power trip Goodell should get off of...

Well, the NFL is the most popular league on the planet, so maybe they are doing something right? Letting jerks like Ocho show how hip they are instead of how talented would lessen the league, not enhance it.

You don't make it to 5 consecutive Pro Bowls with out having some talent... One down year because his QB was injured and people like you forget how dangerous and entertaining this guy is...

First they have to prove he was sending them out. If he has someone that sends them for him, they can't fine him. He'll have the water boy send them.

Twitter is now a news source? That is just sad.

July 10, 2009  07:49 AM ET

So, Ah-Choo Stinko is a twit. What a surprise. This clown deserves a fine just for saying crap like that to the media. Wait until The Commish comes down from the mountain.

Thats funny you say that because before last year Cowboy fan's were going fugg-in nuts to get him on your team...

Go away Chad... Follow steph marbury over seas!!

July 10, 2009  08:13 AM ET

I think I saw this one coming....

Twittering from the sidelines or the locker room is only the logical extension of what already goes on. Coaches and players do sideline and halftime interviews during the games. Guys are ???miked up??? on Monday Night Football. Reporters prowl the sidelines during games gathering information from coaches and players that they feed back to the broadcast booth.

This guy just doesn't get it. It's all about me, me, me, me. Does he have any clue how irrelevant he will become when his short career is over? Chad, not a single person will care about your name, where-abouts or thoughts the second your NFL career is over.

July 10, 2009  08:24 AM ET

Hey Chad Eight Five, you need to chill out bro. Relax, maybe head over to D&B's to unwind, maybe strike up a conversation with some of the waitresses.

I did not mean to imply that he is not talented. Personally, I would rather see him show how talented he is on the field and forget all of the other crap that comes with this guy. I guess that all of those years watching Barry Sanders spoiled me.

July 10, 2009  08:32 AM ET

this guy is a waste of oxygen... I can't believe that anyone finds him funny anymore...

July 10, 2009  08:44 AM ET

I think Belichick had the exact same thought process.. look where it got him...

Chad, you're a moron
