Finals of the 2K Sports Classic, Friday, 5 p.m., ESPN 2

After knocking off Cal and Ohio State, respectively, Syracuse and North Carolina face off in the finals of the 2K Sports Classic to benefit Coaches vs. Cancer Friday night at Madison Square Garden. In the semifinals, Scoop Jardine was the hero for the Orange with 22 points, six rebounds and six assists in 27 minutes. Can he continue his run against the defending champs? If you can't get enough of early college hoops action, the consolation game between the Buckeyes and the Golden Bears tips off at 5 p.m.

Magic at Celtics, Friday, 8 p.m., ESPN

It will be the first time the Magic and the Celtics have faced each other since Game 7 of theh playoffs last spring, won by Orlando. The Magic are on a three-game winning streak.

Arizona at Oregon, Saturday, 6 p.m., ABC

If there is any doubt the BCS system is screwed up, this weekend’s college schedule proves it. Florida plays FIU while Alabama takes on Tennessee-Chattanooga, leaving football fans with very few games to sweat over. Neither Arizona nor Oregon has a chance at the national title, (there are six undefeated teams in the running) but the game does determine who still has a chance at the Rose Bowl. Was Arizona’s loss to Cal last week just a fluke? Or can the Wildcats handle the pressure of being a contender.

Chargers at Broncos, Sunday, 4:15 p.m., CBS

If the Chargers can beat the Broncos, San Diego will take first place in the AFC West.  Despite a 6-0 start, the Broncos are fading fast, while the Chargers have been undefeated since their loss to Denver last month.  If the Broncos can pull out a win, there’s a chance they can turn their season around, but if they’re missing starting quarterback Kyle Orton, that’s a pretty big “if.”

Jets at Patriots, Sunday, 4:15 p.m., CBS

The last time these two teams met, Jets coach Rex Ryan made life miserable for the Patriots, first by badmouthing New England’s star quarterback, and then by whipping the Patriots 16-9 on the way to a 3-0 start. But New York has dropped five of six games since that hot start, which doesn't bode well for this rematch.
